The reports page includes two reports and is available only to brand
managers, proxy managers and system administrators:
- Download Report
- SiteSync Report
Only one of these reports can be run at a time.
Downloads Report
The downloads report generates a list of all downloads recorded
for a given period and displays the results sorted by brand/category
with downloads sorted chronologically within each brand/category.
System Administrators will see a slightly different version of the
report that includes download costs if applicable which supports
billing.
Procedure
- Click the reports or button from the main menu.
- Type the date in the Period From field.
The default is todays date one month ago. For example, if todays date equals 4
August 1999 the default date would be 4 July 1999.
Note: It is best to enter dates in format dd-mmm-yyyy
- Type the date in the Period To field.
The default is todays date.
- Click the Report button.
This opens a new browser window and produces a Summary Report that sorts and lists downloads by brand, sub-brand or category and by date/time.
- Print the report using your standard browser options.
- Close the Browser window.
SiteSync Report
The SiteSync report generates a list of assets and URL links to
the web native files stored in the system for those assets. SiteSync
URL links can then be used to connect to external internet connected
back end systems or websites. Alternatively the SiteSync report is a
great way to review and check on the asset catalogue stored on e-see
as larger images can be quickly previewed.
Brand Managers can select to report on all of their assets or
list assets for a particular brand or category only. Managers can
also select whether to produce the report as a text only list or
whether to include a small thumbnail image or a larger preview
image.
System Administrators will see a slightly different version
of the report that includes the ability to select different
Contributors or select any brand or category. Administrator should
note that they can only choose to use either the Contributor drop
down selection OR the Brand drop down selection NOT both.
Procedure
- Click the reports or button from the main menu.
- In the e-see SiteSync Report section: Select a brand in the Brand
drop down box or select the default "ALL"
- Select either Text List (default), Thumbnail or Preview radio
button.
- Click the Report button.
This opens a new browser window and produces a SiteSync report that sorts and lists
assets by brand, sub-brand or category and asset name. The report
includes brand name, asset name, asset id and a list of URL's of web
native files stored for each asset.
- Either Print the report using your standard browser options or
copy URL's to an external site or system or simply use the report
on-screen to review your assets (clicking a URL will display that
file in your browser in a new window.
- Close the Browser window.
Note: The web native files listed with this report will include
only the .jpg, .gif and .pdf files listed for each asset. Other file
