e-see®, New Zealand’s
leading brand asset management solution has a new owner.
Infinity Solutions
divested it’s stake in e-see® this month in a management buy-out,
after a decision to re-focus on core businesses.
David Vaassen, General
Manager of three years, has purchased Infinity’s majority holding in
e-see and now holds 64% of the privately held New Zealand company.
Other shareholders include, Jenny Morels’ Morel and Co; Rod Gibson of
Gibson Rusden Design, and General Networks (Netlogic).
e-see® stores and
manages digital brand assets and marketing collateral for a host of
blue chip and household brand name companies, government departments
and others. Registered users of the e-see® system, include brand
managers, press, media, dealers, marketing specialists, ad agencies,
designers, IP lawyers, printers, sign writers and many more.
It will be “business
as usual”, says Mr.Vaassen, “particularly for clients and users with
just a few supply-side changes. We’ll be a little quicker on our feet
and can explore some previously inaccessible areas for new business.”
e-see® was founded in 1998 by Rod Gibson.
Netlogic, a Wellington developer, bought shares in e-see® and the
company developed Version 1 (currently on version 4) of the e-see®
brand management system, which went live in 1998. The NZRFU and Lion
breweries were the first clients/users of the system. Comtex (aka
Infinity after it’s merger with Trilogy and Maddison Systems in 2000)
took a majority stake e-see® in 1999.
